COMMON RUIN

“Ars longa, vita brevis”

PODCAST

At the urging of some friends, comrades, and family members, and after extensive consideration, I have made the decision to launch a podcast to accompany the theoretical work I have committed the Common Ruin blog to.

Despite having a slight background in podcasting (e.g. my series of exchanges with Charles Owens at The Value of Everything podcast), it has been several years since I have recorded anything. What’s more, I have no personal experience in sound editing, so this is going to be a process. I ask that whoever makes the kind decision to follow this endeavor, at this nascent stage, be patient as I learn the trade and acquire superior equipment.

The podcast will largely follow the themes I cover in my writings, namely materialist dialectics from a paleocommunist perspective, virtue ethics, council communist political philosophy, Marxist theory, and theology. I hope to arrange discussions with a series of interlocutors, and perhaps even debates on various subjects. I also intend on committing time to answering any questions listeners would like to submit. Should readers have any suggestions as to accessible individuals worthy of discourse, I would appreciate them. Bonus content will be made available to subscribers of Common Ruin’s Patreon.

The Common Ruin podcast is hosted by AnchorFM, is currently available on SpotifyApple Podcasts, and on all other major podcasting platforms.
